Welcome

Thanks for visiting my gene blog. I have been doing gene research for over 10 years and I have to thank the Internet creators for making things a lot easier. Also a big THANK YOU to a wonderful friend and teacher Larry VanHorn, who keeps me from going around in circles.

This blog will follow the bloodline of W.A. Hilliard (my father) and include lot's of information, references and several blacksheep of which I am proud.

Hopefully in posting this blog I can also break down some brick walls that I have been banging my head against for awhile and assist others in their research.

This site will always be under construction, so please bookmark me and check back often.

Hello,
I didn't know if this page was still being looked at but I thought I would take a chance. I am researching William K. Hilliard and Dilla Scarborough on Ancestry, they are my great great grandparents. I am looking for any information you may have concerning Dilla, I am kind of confused. I have no information concerning her parents, where she was born, and who her and William's children were. In my research I have, it shows that a William K. Hilliard died in the Confederate War in 1862, in Tenn. There are children that show in the 1870 and 1880 census which were born after that, and on those census's, they are shown as Hilliard's. Did she remarry a Hilliard? Were they children from another relative staying with her? If you can help me with any of these questions I would greatly appreciate it. My email that I use more than the one listed on here is rjackson-53@hotmail.com. I rarely us the gmail account.
Thank you so much. Rosemary Jackson
